The Mandarin Oriental Chengdu is a hotel in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group currently under construction. It will occupy the top 33 stories of a mixed-use tower, located in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province in southwest China. It will be tall. Construction started in 2013 and is expected to be completed in 2017. The hotel is a mixed-use development located on a riverfront site in the Jin-jiang district and it is designed by Aedas. The property features 320 rooms and 41 suites. The Mandarin Oriental Chengdu will have a rooftop bar and tea lounge, a Chinese restaurant serving Sichuan cuisine, three speciality dining venues and a Cake Shop.
